Abstract
An article giving an in-depth overview of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, particularly the Articles dealing with deaf people and sign languages. This article further looks at the ways in which nongovernmental organizations can utitlize this Convention to advocate for full human rights for deaf people in their respective countries.
