Abstract
The artist draws comparison to the rise of oralism, enforced by Alexander Graham Bell, to communism. He draws a red, yellow, and white flag (similar to the communism flag), however to reenforce Bell’s beliefs of oralism as a way of education and teaching deaf children to talk, a cochlear implant replaces the sickle and hammer of the original flag.
