This demonstrates to me on how many deaf people out here like me continue to have recurring issues at hand that goes by unresolved. The hands are low below the center of the torso, once upraised and high, yet now by long strenuous bouts of persecution, the hands are close to give up. The guy in the picture has upturned eyes, representing the madness in his mind, bemusement turned into a frozen grimace. His teeth are jarred, and set apart from each other in rows, from long periods of jaw-clenching. His hair seeming like flames, representing his reality in hell.

This distorted caricature represents hearing individuals. She is squawking and screeching—shouting nonchalantly toward a deaf person. Regardless of the fact she knows and recognizes that the deaf person understands absolutely not a thing. She continues to “deaf-speak” like an animated puppet, because she knows of not any alternate option to get the message across. Regardless of the fact that she recognizes deaf people as equals, she entreats them as inadequate and lessers. Why? Because it is mainstream to do so, and there is not sufficient information to educate or promote them to educate each other. Her eyeliner strokes resembles that of a mime. Her hair and outfit closely matches that of the genuflecting man.
