I work in the philosophy of biology and race, with particular focus on classification practices in contemporary biology and their social/ethical implications. Currently, I am the principal investigator for "Human Genomics without Racism," an interdisciplinary project funded by the European Research Council. I am also interested in philosophical questions about biological lineages, scientific concepts, and explanations.
