Social dysfunctionalities breed social problems. Social development seeks to promote transformative policies and programs. The second issue of 2021 deals with certain problematic fields which have bearing on the quality of social development. The emphasis, as Guy Backman unravels, is on social policy frames and societal problems.

SDI is grateful to a host of reviewers and contributors who studiously worked to accomplish this issue in a timely fashion.
