Heracademic background includes:

  • Psy. D., Antioch University where her Area of Concentration focused on the unique application of theories & assessments when working with African American families & children.
  • She is a graduate of the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental & Related Disabilities (LEND) training program at the University of Washington. This program prepares professionals including policy makers, faculty, clinicians and researchers to lead the maternal and child health work force.
  • Transforming Historical Harms: Certified Trainer, Eastern Mennonite University. A program that addresses historical injustices and their present manifestations through the lens of intergenerational trauma & the social structures that act as present-day transmission mechanisms
  • BA, Antioch University; Area of Concentration: Psychology
  • And one of the educational achievements she is most proud of was receiving her AAS in Visual and Applied Communications at Seattle Central Community College

 

 

Amongher areas of expertise are administration and operations, program developmentplanning and implementation, fund development, curriculum development, workingtherapeutically with diverse individuals and communities to heal historicaltraumas, cultural and anti-bias education, family therapy, substance abuseawareness and counseling, and youth and family services.
