The Journal of Electronic Publishing (JEP) Seeks to Publish the Results of Student Research

Posted by Michael Roy on 2022-02-12

The Journal of Electronic Publishing (JEP) is now publishing extended abstracts (1,000 to 1,500 words) of thesis and dissertations on topics relating to digital publishing or other aspects of the contemporary publishing landscape. Work covering all types of publishing from all parts of the world will be considered. The abstracts should summarize completed thesis or dissertation work and discuss how it contributes to our understanding of contemporary publishing.

To be considered, the thesis or dissertation should have been deposited in an open institutional or subject digital repository. A DOI or other persistent identifier should be included in the submission. Beginning immediately, it is expected that five to ten abstracts will be published per JEP issue, and the journal’s editors will evaluate and select abstracts for publication as appropriate.

Abstracts should be submitted through the JEP portal at: https://journals.publishing.umich.edu/jep/submit/start/

JEP is published by Michigan Publishing. It is an open access journal that does not charge author processing charges or submission fees.
