Alison K. McConwell is a philosopher of science focusing in the history and philosophy of biology. She has conducted archival research while in residence at Stanford University's Patrick Suppes Center for History and Philosophy of Science, worked at the University of British Columbia on the historical character of historical sciences, and at the University of California Davis processing her archival research on evolutionary biology's intellectual history and its social contexts. She is currently Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Massachusetts in Lowell.
