Interested in getting involved in Weave? We're looking for two editors to join our collaborative editorial team that keeps the journal running. Like all positions at Weave, editors are volunteers and work remotely from anywhere in the world. Learn more about our editorial philosophy and meet our team.
We recognize systemic inequities in academic publishing and are developing more inclusive editorial practices, such as requiring inclusive language from authors and exploring open peer review and ways to advance the work of marginalized scholars. We are actively building an editorial staff that reflects a diversity of experiences, and specifically encourage applications from people of color, people who identify as LGBTQIA+, and people with disabilities.
Assistant Editor position
Submissions are up, so we're growing our scholarly submissions team. The Assistant Editor will help manage the process of receiving, reviewing, accepting, and editing peer-reviewed submissions. You'll work collaboratively and receive guidance and mentorship from our two Senior Editors, Camille Thomas and Scott Young.

Dialog Box Editor position
We're looking for a new Dialog Box Editor to step in as current editor Scarlet Galvan steps back after four years of dedicated service. The Dialog Box Editor is responsible for all non-peer-reviewed content in the journal, working with authors to develop pitches and ideas into publishable pieces. We encourage and empower the new Dialog Box Editor to shape the future direction of this section.
