Berika Williams is the Research and Instruction Data librarian for Ginn Library at Tufts University, and has been an editor for Weave since 2021. Berika specializes in content strategy, IA, and UX research. At her former role at Hirsh Health Sciences Library, she led their UX efforts as well as their Web Content Advisory Committee, which she created with colleagues. She likes style guides and advocates for plain language and is interested in mentoring authors throughout the writing process, from submitting an idea to the manuscript stage. She's interested in an inclusive and transparent editorial process, one that allows different viewpoints to be heard. She was an ALA Emerging Leader in 2013 and is active in the ALA Core Division.
