Will Hennessy is a full-time faculty member at Algonquin College, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. He works as an Educational Developer in the college’s Learning and Teaching Services (LTS), department, which supports faculty with their teaching, course design, and educational technology needs. He has been teaching in Higher Education for over a decade, after earning a Master of Education from the University of Ottawa, and undergraduate degrees at Trent University.

Growing up as a neurodivergent learner in many learning environments designed for "neurotypical" learning, Will knows the value of cultivating belonging in the classroom, and he strives to centre this in his faculty development work. He develops and delivers PD workshops and professional learning programs, and supports faculty with their teaching needs. He is passionate about inclusive teaching and fostering academic belonging, supporting neurodivergent learners, and alternative grading strategies. Also about nachos.
